Holehead is the third highest point in the Campsie Fells after Earl’s Seat and the Meikle Bin.
This is a great route that will make you feel you are exploring a valley in the wilderness even though you are only 10 minutes from a MacDonald’s fast restaurant.
Two of my favorite places to walk are Loch Ardinning and Lennox Forest. You can see the loch from the forest and you can see the forest from the loch but there is no path that connects them together.
